Lake Street Upgrades
Chicago, Illinois

Signal South is providing final hardware design and application software development for the elimination of the switch machine at Lake Street in Chicago

Commuter Network Upgrades
Orlando, Florida

Signal South provided preliminary engineering, final detailed hardware design, material ordering, application software development, installation, and commissioning support - as well as development of pre-test and commissioning documentation - along 40 miles of the congested commuter network in Orlando.

Additionally, we provided block analysis which reduced signal requirements and software configuration management along with final as-in-service plans.

Southern Spriggsboro PTC Engineering
Indiana

​As part of PTC, Signal South is providing preliminary engineering, final hardware design, applications software, simulation and rack testing of 112 miles from Fort Wayne to Spriggsboro, Indiana.

PTC Obsolescence
Eastern U.S.

Signal South provided project management services for Phases 1-6 of the Columbia Subdivision, Phases 1-2 of the Yeoman Subdivision, AW&P Subdivision, Monon Subdivision, and Phase 12. Project work included preliminary engineering, survey, final engineering, PTC application software development, and final as-in-service plans.

CP Vera Bridge Elimination
Tennessee

As part of a capacity improvement project to eliminate an existing bridge and add a new yard track, Signal South provided signal engineering services. ​

Crossing Upgrades
Houston, Texas

​As part of a a Crossings Upgrades Project, Signal South was responsible for the design of multiple crossing upgrades and the main line electric lock.

New Crossings
Hondo, Texas

​Signal South was responsible for the design of multiple new work crossing locations.
